Scott Gerrish, DO, received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University. Following graduation, he attended medical school at Midwestern University in Chicago and completed his internal medicine residency at the George Washington University Medical Center in Washington. During his residency, Dr. Gerrish trained under several cosmetic surgeons, developing his knowledge and skills in the non-invasive to minimally invasive cosmetic field. Dr. Gerrish has been delivering medical cosmetic treatments since 1996, and his practice has grown to include offices in Northern Virginia, Baltimore, and Scottsdale, Arizona. Utilizing his engineering degree, Dr. Gerrish has worked closely with numerous laser manufacturers in optimizing current technology and protocols, most notably the CoolSculpting T2T and miraDry Fresh protocols. Dr. Gerrish has been the medical director of the East Coast CoolSculpting Training Center in Reston, Virginia, since 2015. The comprehensive programs at the training center teaches doctors, nurses and medical professionals the latest techniques and best practices in CoolSculpting. Dr. Gerrish's practice offers a wide variety of non-invasive to minimally invasive cosmetic procedures and was awarded the Inc 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America in 2020 and 2021.
