Decoding Asymmetry: Causes, Effects and Even One-Sided Solutions
Date: April 11, 2025
Time: 04:25PM - 04:50PM
Duration: 25 minutes
Every face tells a unique story of balance and asymmetry, shaped by intrinsic factors established at birth and extrinsic factors accumulated over time. In this session, Lisa Rivero, APRN, MSN, FNP-BC, FPA, will explore the fascinating interplay between a face’s dominant and non-dominant sides, examining how differences in bone structure, fat distribution and muscle activity contribute to natural asymmetry. She will also dive into the impact of extrinsic factors, which can accelerate aging or further create asymmetry on one side of the face, creating visible imbalances. Through case studies, attendees will learn how to assess these asymmetries and apply targeted treatments to one side of the face to restore harmony and symmetry.
